This was really a wake up early day for us. We were on the road at 8:30 am. Terri actually had a timetable for today. :)

From Essexville we drove to Midland to visit the Dow Gardens. They opened at 9 and we arrived at 9:

It was 58 when we arrived and 68 and sunny 2.75 hours later when we left.

Not only did they have plenty of flowers, they had sculptures placed all over the 110 acres.

This bridge crosses over the highway to get to another portion of the gardens - the canopy walk, orchards, education center, etc.

The canopy walk is what Terri wanted to see.
