Sandi and I took the Hop On Hop Off bus today. Here is the Hofoi House, where Pres. Regan & Gorbachev met to discuss ending the Cold War.

The Solfarid or Sun Voyager sculpture along the harbor.

We got off the bus at the Hallgrimskirkja, among the tallest buildings in Reyjkavik.

This is not our picture, but we had the sun shining on us and it was difficult for us to get a good picture.

Statue in honor of Leif Erikson, the Norse explorer, the first European who is thought to set foot in N. America.

The statue of Leif is right next to the church. Not sure of that significance.

We took the elevator up to the tower for a better view of the city.

This is the smaller airport, used for domestic travel - to Europe, Greenland, Norway, etc.
