We left the McKinley Lodge towards Kenai via bus. We stopped in Anchorage for lunch. We ate at the Glacier Brew House. Oh, the morning was exciting - we saw a moose, an eagle, goats & dall sheep.

We include this picture because of the unique firewood holder.

More clam (or seafood) chowder for Denny.

Delicious chicken for Terri.

Scrumptious king crab legs for Denny.

Beautiful flowers can grow because of the midnight sun.

Portage Glacier

A lot of snow activity occurs in Turnagain Pass - they call it snowmachining.

This is Cook Inlet which stretches from Anchorage to Kenai - to the ocean and includes the region of the most densely populated area of Alaska.
